Business Description
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 159 was chartered in November 1900 as a labor union under the terms of the Constitution of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. We believe in providing an honest day’s work in exchange for competitive wages and benefits, safe and fair working conditions, and a voice in the workplace! in addition to representation for our members, we offer electrician apprenticeships, entry level positions, and opportunities for experienced electricians.
About Our Exhibit
we will have an interactive exhibit where participants will be able to wire up a light fixture and be able to turn on the light afterward to see the results of their work. we will also have information sheets which outline skills and subjects that are beneficial to study for individuals interested in entering the union electrical trade.
